ACTION REQUIRED: Reorient the mind to what Psalm 119:105 teaches, i.e. "Thy Word is lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path"
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, the natural tendency of all humans seems to be embedded in me unless I allow YOUR Holy Spirit to make the necessary adjustments to redirect my heart, mind, body and soul to Your Ways, and Your Word. Lord, while the heart is willing and the flesh follows, we ask for this new year and season that You grant overwhelming strength of purpose and resolve in not allowing myself to lapse and slip but to stay the course and set my mind of Christ, the Author and Perfecter of my Faith in You, in Jesus' Strong and Mighty Name, I rely and pray, amen.
VERSE: "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God." - Colossians 3:1
EQUATION: New Life in Christ = New Perspective > Than things of this world.
ACTION REQUIRED: In light of this fact, seek the Lord when He can be found. Obey Him. Read His Word. He is in Heaven. We are not there yet. He is God. We are His children.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for the New Life in Christ You have given me. Thank You for this new year and the new possibilities. Please grant me true wisdom and knowledge, as found in Your Holy Word that I may grow into the person You have designed and created me to be, in this new season....this new paradigm, that I may (H.O.L.D.) -honor, obey, lift-up and dedicate my all to you, in this new year, according to the commands of Your great Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His Name I pray.
