DAY 22/40 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR AMERICA

AMERICA OFF BALANCE, PART 3
BELIEVE OR NOT
Immediately the boy's father cried out and said, "I do believe; help my unbelief." Mark 9:24

We have been hitting the current weak state of American Christianity pretty hard for a while, as part of the reason inside the church looks like the outside. It is also the reason why people come to church, sing "Just As I am" and then leave just as they were.

The bottom line is Faith. We, who are called by His Name (i.e. Christians) either believe Him or not.  We either believe EVERY Word He said, or we believe none of it. We can't be half in. In fact, if we are half in, we're 100% OUT!!! Yes! Here is what Jesus said about those like that, in Revelation 3:15-16 "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth."

Father, in the Name of Jesus,  You have called us to be Your children, we who have repented and but our trust in the Savior as our Lord and Master. Lord we all have doubts and fears and even anxiety about this or that, and especially these days, about our own children's future. But Lord, help us in these times, to stand strong in our Faith in You. We have all the Grace and Indwelling on Your Spirit we are going to get. So Lord, give us the wisdom to recognize, prioritize and then exercise that Truth, which brings understanding and ultimately sweet victory in Jesus! Those who are wise will arise and shine, but those who are doubting all the time or weak in their faith or seeking...Lord help us to reach out to them. Help us to love them to Jesus. If some still refuse to be fully submitted to Thee, my God and my King, help their unbelief and let them know the danger of walking or attempting to walk in two different worlds - Yours and the other one. Thank You for Faith, for the ability to believe and the distinct calling to follow Jesus, and it is in the Name of the Christ I  pray, amen.
